Looking forward to your homecoming, Gunnar.

Don't forget: I'm going to take you out for a little motorcycle trials riding before the snow flies.

Wow, it looks like you are right on schedule if not a little ahead! YEA! Great job, to both you and Dina!! I just caught up on your blog. Glad you are reaching your goal. I'm sure you will be moving on to something less boring when you get back to the "real world." I'll be excited to hear how much of your financial goal you have met. Also, have you gotten any more news or media coverage? We are still thinking of you down here in KC and will keep following your efforts, even after the walk. Hope you have a great homecoming in Minnesota.
Your friend and supporter,

All of us on the DJJD committee are so excited that you will be finishing your 1000 mile walk during the Defeat of Jesse James Days celebration. DJJD is about celebrating heroes. The Northfield townspeople back in 1876 fought to defend the bank and their money against the notorious James-Younger Gang and we celebrate their heroic efforts each year, so it is only fitting that we celebrate your heroic effort as well to help children in war torn countries. You're dedication to this cause makes you (and Dina) modern day heroes! See you both soon!
