08.11.09: Video and News Coverage

Ok, so I took my first stab at creating a video today. All of these clips are from a day I was getting lost somewhere in northern Kansas. I’m still figuring out how  to make these videos, so please excuse my poor abilities. I’ll get better, promise. Feel free to laugh at me and my frustrations along this route in northern Kansas.

I have been enjoying your adventure. Isn’t it funny that we had better intel on how to get someplace when we were overseas then we do here in the USA?

I live in Pella, IA. How close to Pella will you be traveling?
    Thanks
    Bob

Well, this part of Kansas looks beautiful, at least. The long way to Topeka seemed people-less. As a student in college out in Colorado, I feel quite excited that I’m here in Kansas, although I’m from a suburb near Northfield and won’t be here when the walk finishes in the fall!

Hey bob! We are still working on our route going into Iowa. I tend to walk wherever there are groups of kids who want to meet up with me, and I don’t think we have concentrated on contacting anyone in Iowa quite yet. I will do my best to let people know where I’ll be headed.

Hey Aly! Sorry to miss you on my return to Northfield, MN on September 10th.
